Sven Bode, who also goes by the pseudonym DEBO, is a German painter who resides in the United States. He has exhibited in both countries, as well as in Israel, the United Kingdom, and Japan. A chance encounter with his Holiness the Dali Lama changed the course of his artistic career many years ago, inspiring him to make a commitment to express his artistic message to the world. Bode uses a truly abstract approach in his compositions, sparking the fantasies of viewers.
